Our Mission

The Sister Project leadership team has a well-documented history of planning, executing and analyzing deliverables in multifaceted regional, national and global business environments. Our goal is to use this experience to benefit the license office customer, Missouri Department of Revenue, associates and the communities we serve. Short wait times, expanded technology-based service options, well-trained staff, data-driven outcome assessment and continuous process feedback will contribute to a refreshingly positive experience for all constituents

Purpose Driven Work

The Sister Project created a concrete, written plan to address the increasingly complex driver license and motor vehicle titling needs of Missourians when we answered the State of Missouri’s license office request for proposal. The content of these contracts is posted in each location so our customers can readily see the commitment we made. Our goal is to assist you in the most pleasant and accurate way. From the moment you walk through our doors, our team wants you to feel comfort in knowing your motor vehicle titling and driver license needs will be addressed efficiently by our competent, friendly staff. And we want to hear how you feel about it!

Social Justice

The Sister Project is committed to a changed paradigm of what constitutes community benefit. Our compensation and benefits structure is paired with financial management resources so our associates don’t have to seek charitable assistance to cover preventative healthcare services, provide food for their children, or meet their basic needs. Social justice begins inside our four walls with this concrete commitment to our people. At The Sister Project, social justice also extends beyond our doors to help others in the community in traditional and non-traditional ways. Our focus is to reduce poverty and improve health in communities we serve. While The Sister Project does not fund charity events or endowment projects as we feel these artificial constructs often have a moderated or indeterminate effect on target outcome, we do fund projects that are making current measurable impact on our focus areas. Tell us what you want to accomplish for the community and how you plan to get there. Let’s collaborate on how we can help!

About us

The Sister Project was formed by three sisters who were raised on a farm in Ozark County, Missouri in a family with extremely limited financial resources. Some might call this poverty. However, the sisters were fortunate to be raised by parents who emphasized old-fashioned hard work and the critical nature of a good education as the pathway to success. Their childhood was one of freedom within a framework, which strongly influences their views on business, personal responsibility and community engagement.
